BACKSPACE, ENTER, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN Disable After Exit Macro

SYMPTOMS

The BACKSPACE, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN, and ENTER keys are disabled when your insertion point exits a form field that contains an exit macro that unprotects your form.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

To restore the functionality of these keys, follow these steps:

  1. Display the Forms toolbar. To do this, choose Toolbars from the View menu.

  2. Select the Forms check box.

  3. Choose the OK button.

  4. Click the Protect Form button on the Forms toolbar once to reprotect the form.

  5. Click the Protect Form button a second time. This will unprotect your form.
