"Cannot Run Program" Error Starting Word for Windows NT

SYMPTOMS

You receive the following error message when trying to start Word for Windows NT:

   Cannot Run Program
   Unexpected error: 11.

CAUSE

You are trying to start a version of Word that is incompatible with your computer's processor. For example, you are trying to run the MIPS version of Word for Windows NT on an Intel-based Windows NT system.

RESOLUTION

Install the version of Word for Windows NT based on the processor within your computer system.
