Lines in Drawing Print "Fuzzy" with Epson Stylus Color Printer

SYMPTOMS

When you print from Word for Windows with an Epson Stylus Color printer, lines look "fuzzy."

Lines 4 points wide drawn in the Drawing Layer or drawn as Drawing Objects print with "fuzzy" edges.

Lines in pictures imported from Paintbrush, and lines in pictures created in Word 2.0 and opened in Word 6.0, do print correctly.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you use the Epson Stylus Color printer driver version 1.03.

RESOLUTION

Use a version of the Epson Stylus Color printer driver later than version 1.03.

STATUS

This problem was corrected in Word version 7.0 for Windows 95.
