The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSYou get the following error message during Internet Assistant for Word setup and Setup is terminated:
There is insufficient memory or disk space to run Setup. Setup needs about 900 KB of free disk space. Try shutting down other applications, restarting Windows, or freeing some disk space. CAUSEThe WORDWEB.CAB file may be damaged or corrupt. This can happen if, for example, you attempt to decompress WORDIA.EXE on a floppy disk where there is insufficient space to decompress this file. These errors may also occur if WORDIA.EXE was not downloaded completely. The first error message will also appear if you do not have write access to the hard disk where Internet Assistant is being installed or if there is not enough free space on the hard drive.
RESOLUTIONMove WORDIA.EXE to a temporary directory on a local hard drive that has at least 4 MB of available disk space. Decompress WORDIA.EXE again and rerun Setup from this location. Although the error message reports that 900 KB of free disk space is required, 4 MB is the preferred amount. -or- Insure that sufficient disk space is available and repeat the download of WORDIA.EXE. Follow the normal installation process.
