SGML: Converter Error on DEC Alpha System

SYMPTOMS

When you save a document as SGML on a DEC Alpha system running Windows NT 3.5, you may receive the following error message:

   SGML Converter Error, general file I/O. Unable to complete
   conversion.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SGML Author version 1.0. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
