Can't Edit/Activate Object in Web Browse View

SYMPTOMS

You cannot activate or edit a package object when viewing the document in Web Browse view.

CAUSE

While your document is in Web Browse view, Word attaches it to the WEBVIEW.DOT template, which makes your document protected.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Assistant version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

To activate the object, from the View menu, choose HTML Edit.
