MORE INFORMATION

File Locations

The file locations listed on pages 243 and 248 are correct for version 6.0 of Microsoft Word, but are not accurate for files installed by Word 6.0.1. The Resource Kit was published after Word version 6.0 was released but before version 6.0.1.

For more information about the correct file locations of Word version 6.0.1, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Shortcut Keys

Appendix F ("Quick Reference to Word Commands and Key Sequences") indicates that you can press OPTION+TAB to display the drop-down menus on the Macintosh. This is incorrect. Pressing OPTION+TAB inserts a tab character into the document. The correct procedure for displaying a drop-down menu is to press F10, and then press the letter of the underlined letter on the menu that you want to see.
