SYMPTOMSIf you use a message box statement (MsgBox) with the FileSendMail command in Word, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Exchange Error: MAPI Error: Microsoft Word - 0 - (80010001) CAUSEThe error is caused by a focus conflict between the two commands.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows 95, version 7.0. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONDetails of this MAPI error will show that Word caused an invalid page fault. As long as the error MAPI error message is on the screen, WordMail is tied up. Therefore, if you start Exchange, you will receive a "WordMail initialization failure" error in Exchange.
