No Error Dialog Using Answer Wizard in Protected Document

SYMPTOMS

You hear a system beep instead of seeing an error dialog box when you use the Answer Wizard in a protected document. This behavior occurs only when you get help for a command that is not available in a protected document.

WORKAROUND

To get help on a topic that is unavailable in a protected document, open a new document, and then run the Answer Wizard.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows 95, version 7.0. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
