Some Switches for TOC Field Not Documented in Online Help

SYMPTOMS

The following two switches for the {TOC} field are not documented in Word online Help:

   \w
   \x

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows 95, version 7.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

The \w switch is used to preserve tab characters within table entries. The \x switch is used to preserve newline characters within table entries.
