Shortcut Keys Don't Work with French Canadian Keyboard

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Natural French Canadian Keyboard, and Language is set to Canadian, the following keyboard shortcuts do not work.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the French version of Word for Windows 95, version 7.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, change the shortcut key assignments. To do this:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Customize.
2. Click the Keyboard tab. 3. In the Category list, click All Commands. 4. Select each command and assign different keyboard shortcut keys.
