SYMPTOMSThe following shortcut key assignments do not function as they are defined in Word Help. NOTE: Some third-party programs may also affect shortcut key functionality. The following list shows the shortcut keys and the functions they actually perform.

Moving within a DocumentThe shortcut key assigned to the GoBack function does not function correctly if Internet Assistant is installed on your system. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
ARTICLE-ID: Q128504 TITLE : SHIFT+F5 (Go Back) Not Functioning with Internet Assistant Activate the RulerCTRL+SHIFT+F10 is assigned to WW2_RulerMode, a WordBasic command that is used for backwards compatibility with Word for Windows 2.0. By default, there is no shortcut key assignment given to the View Ruler command in Word 7.0.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows 95 version 7.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use any of the following workarounds.
Print PreviewTo move to the first page when zoomed out, press CTRL+HOME. To move to the last page when zoomed out, press CTRL+END.
Moving within a DocumentMethod 1: Disable the Wiahtm32.wll. To do this, click Templates on the File menu, clear the Wiahtm32.wll check box, and then click OK.Method 2: Create a macro to reassign the GoBack command to the shortcut key when Internet Assistant is installed. a. On the Tools menu, click Macro. b. In the Macro Name box type "GoBack" (without the quotation marks), and then click the Create button. You will see the following in the macro editing window: Sub MAIN GoBack End Sub c. On the File menu, click Save. d. Click Customize on the Tools menu, and then select the Keyboard tab. e. Select Edit in the Categories list box. f. Select GoBack in the Commands list. g. With the insertion point in the Press New Shortcut Key box, type SHIFT+F5, and then click Assign. h.
