IA: Font Attributes Not Retained for Hyperlink Heading Styles

SYMPTOMS

Font information is removed when you export text formatted with a heading style that contains a combination of hyperlink and font elements. Specifically, font color and face are removed. Size attributes are retained.

CAUSE

This is a design limitation of Internet Assistant. Word does not provide full support for nesting styles.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Assistant for Word, version 2.0z. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

Use a text editor, such as Notepad, to manually modify the HTML code.
