SYMPTOMSAfter you make changes in the RegOptions macro, changes are written to the Windows Registry (even if you click Cancel).
WORKAROUNDRun the RegOptions macro and clear the changes that were made.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONThe RegOptions macro included with Word provides a convenient interface for viewing Word-related settings in the Windows Registry.
