Method 1: Install Microsoft Home Essentials 97To upgrade to Microsoft Word 97 for Windows, you can install Microsoft Home Essentials 97. Microsoft Home Essentials 97 includes a CD-ROM with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, Microsoft Arcade, Link to Zone, ValuPack, two months of free Internet time through MSN (Microsoft Network), and 3,000 extra clip art images. Microsoft Home Essentials also includes a CD-ROM with Microsoft Greetings Workshop, and a CD-ROM with Microsoft Encarta.
