The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you start typing a date, Word may suggest an AutoComplete date format with an incorrect date.
CAUSEThe system date has changed since Word was started.
WORKAROUNDQuit and restart Word. Word will suggest the correct AutoComplete date. NOTE: You do not need to restart Windows.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
