STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Word 97 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONTo verify that a hyperlink exists on the object, move the mouse pointer to the bottom of the object. The mouse pointer should change to the correct hyperlink pointer (usually a hand), and a ScreenTip for the hyperlink should be displayed.
