The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you click "Send To Mail Recipient" on the File menu in Word, the WordMail design template is not displayed in the new mail message. This problem occurs regardless of the view (for example, page layout or online layout view), whether you are sending as an attachment or not from Word.
CAUSEThis problem occurs when any of the following e-mail templates are selected when Word is your e-mail editor:
WORKAROUNDTo keep the e-mail template look in your e-mail message, use one of the following methods.
Method 1: Insert the Word Document in a New Mail Message
Method 2: Copy and Paste your Word Document in a New Mail Message
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
