WD97: Next Page Section Break Changes to Odd or Even

SYMPTOMS

When you enter a next page section break and change the subsequent paper orientation (portrait to landscape or landscape to portrait), the next page section break may turn into an odd page section break.

CAUSE

When you change paper orientation, the Section Start (on the File menu, click Page Layout, and then click the Layout tab) is set to Odd Page.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
