SYMPTOMSWhen a Float Over Text object is placed over a single line of text, the text may disappear. This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDUse any of the following methods appropriate for your situation:
Method 1: Remove the Space After Paragraph Formatting
Method 2: Remove the Tight or Through Wrapping Style from the Object
Method 3: Convert the Text Box to a Frame
Method 4: Move or Resize the ObjectMove the object to a different position on the page, or change the size of the object. This may allow the text to appear.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONThis problem does not occur if the paragraph is longer than one line of text, or if there is no spacing after the single-line paragraph, or if Tight or Through wrapping style is not applied to the object.
