SUMMARYIf you attempt to use your personal address book (PAB) from Microsoft Outlook for your address list in Microsoft Direct Mail Manager, you will receive the following error message:
Error (3045) Couldn't use <filename>; file already in use. This error occurred when attempting to open the address list file <filename>. Please check that (1) the file exists, (2) you have selected a file format supported by Direct Mail Manager, and (3) it is not locked or your access is otherwise restricted. MORE INFORMATIONMicrosoft Direct Mail Manager does not support the use of a Personal Address Book file for an address list. Microsoft Direct Mail Manager can use the following file formats for an address list:
