SUMMARYThe following article discusses the types of file formats that can be used as an address list in Microsoft Direct Mail Manager and the types of file formats that a modified address can be saved in.
MORE INFORMATIONNOTE: The extensions listed with each of the file formats below are the standard extensions that Direct Mail Manager expects for that format. If your address list was saved with a different extension than is listed for each of these file formats, Direct Mail Manager may be unable to list the address list by default. Microsoft Direct Mail Manager can use the following files types for an address list:
Microsoft Access Database (.mdb, .mdw, .mda) dBase III and IV (.dbf) Microsoft Excel Worksheet (.xls) Microsoft FoxPro (.dbf, .dbc) Microsoft Word Document (.doc) Paradox 5.x Database (.db) Delimited Text File (.txt, .csv, .tab, .asc) Microsoft Outlook Contacts FolderOnce the address list is verified, you have the ability to save the updated address list in one of the following formats:
