The following large-screen monitors have been tested for compatibility with Microsoft Word versions 3.0x, 4.0, and 5.0 by Microsoft and by the companies themselves:

The only known compatibility problems with Microsoft Word are that Word does not support "tear-off" menus (menus in a large-screen monitor that allow pull-down menus to appear anywhere on the screen, not just extended from the menu bar).
