The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen displaying a document formatted with Mirror Margins (Mirror Even/Odd in Word 4.0 and 5.x, Facing Pages in Word 3.x) in Print Preview (Page View in Word 3.x), the first page of the document appears on the right when facing pages are displayed.
CAUSEWord is following standard publishing guidelines, in which the first page of a bound manuscript always starts on the right. The page on the left does not cause the printer to eject a blank page at printing.
MORE INFORMATIONIn order to set Mirror Margins, on the File menu click Document Layout (Format/Document in Word 4.0 and 5.x, File/Page Setup in Word 3.x).
