SUMMARYTo use a foreign dictionary with Microsoft Word for the Macintosh versions 5.0 and 5.1, go to the Tools menu, and choose Preferences. Select Spelling, and choose the desired dictionary. This dictionary will be used for future spelling. To use a foreign dictionary with Microsoft Word for the Macintosh version 3.x or 4.0, double-click the dictionary to start Word. When you select Spelling, Word loads the dictionary that you double-clicked into the spelling checker. To always use a particular dictionary with Word version 3.x or 4.0, follow these steps:
