SUMMARY

In outline view, Word prints only those paragraphs that are displayed when you click Print.

MORE INFORMATION

If only the first line of body text is displayed in outline view, the entire paragraph will be printed, not just the first line that appears in outline view with Show Body Text on.

Word does not print body or headings text that is collapsed (not visible in Outlining).
