SUMMARYYou can use the Format Tabs command to set up tab positions within cells of a table. Each cell holds its own individual tab settings, even among cells located in the same column. Microsoft Word for Windows ignores tab settings at positions that exceed the cell boundaries. The use of tabs is modified slightly when in a table. To move to the next cell in a table, use the TAB key. To move to a tab position within a cell, hold down the CTRL key, and press the TAB key.
