SUMMARYIf you manually insert the XE (Index Entry) field ,{xe ...}, the character case in the argument list affects the resulting index. Below is an example of the situation. The following two example fields produce two different results:
MORE INFORMATIONThis behavior is caused by the case of the character "t" in the words "tuxedo" and "Tuxedo". Word for Windows interprets the words as different; therefore Word builds two different entries. Note that the braces {} were entered using the CTRL+F9 key combination.
