SUMMARY
To apply the PostScript style to text in Microsoft Word, follow the
steps below.
After you have entered the PostScript lines, do the following:
- Select the lines and apply the PostScript style to them by holding
down the SHIFT key and choosing the PostScript style from the
styles box on the ruler. (If you are using Word 3.0, apply the
PostScript style by holding down the SHIFT key and choosing Styles
from the Format menu. Then select the PostScript style in the
Styles dialog box.)
- From the File menu, choose Print, make sure that the Print Hidden
Text option is turned off, and print the document.

In Word 5.0 and 5.1, the PostScript style can be applied in the
following manner as well:
- Select the lines of text.
- From the Format menu, choose Style.
- Click on the All Styles radio button.
- Select PostScript from the list and then click OK.
In Word 4.0 the PostScript style can be applied in the following
manner as well:
- Select the lines of text.
- Hold down the SHIFT key and select Define All Styles from the
Format menu.
- Select PostScript from the list and then click OK.
Note that the PostScript style is considered hidden text and may not
be visible unless Show Hidden Text is selected. In Word 5.0 and 5.1,
this is done by choosing Preferences from from the Tools menu and then
clicking on the View icon on the left side of the screen. In Word 4.0
choose Preferences from the Edit menu.
