  • Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.1a, 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c, 6.0, 6.0a, 6.0c

SUMMARY

If you define a glossary (AutoText in Word 6.0) or add a selection to the Spike glossary in Microsoft Word for Windows, you cannot undo these actions by choosing Undo from the Edit menu. Because these commands involve the movement of text to and from the glossary, Word for Windows cannot undo their actions.

To define a selection of text as a glossary, select the text you want and choose Glossary from the Edit menu. Type in a glossary name and choose Define.

To define a selection of text as a Spike glossary, select the text and press CTRL+F3.
