Microsoft Word for Windows does not print paragraph or table borders to a plotting device.

Word for Windows prints borders as bitmapped images to all output devices. The Windows plotter driver does not print bitmap images. It can harm the hardware if such an image is printed. Therefore, borders do not print from Word for Windows to a plotting device.
