SUMMARY

In Microsoft Word for Windows with the WordPerfect Document Navigation Keys check box enabled in the Tools Options General dialog box, CTRL+F3 does not perform line draw. In WordPerfect, pressing CTRL+F3 enables you to use the directional (arrow) keys to draw lines; this function is unavailable in Word for Windows.

In Word version 6.0 for Windows, when Help for WordPerfect Users is choosen from the Tools menu by selecting Options and choosing the General tab or by selecting this option from the Help menu, using CTRL+F3 will return information about using the Drawing Toolbar to add lnes to your document. Additional information on using Borders and Shading is also included.

For additional information on using the Drawing Tool see Chapter 16 in "Word for Windows 6.0 User's Guide", page 353.

In Word for Windows 2.x, if you have the WordPerfect Help check box enabled in the Tools Options General dialog box, the WordPerfect CTRL+F3 key combination gives you the option of choosing Border from the Format menu to add lines and boxes to text and graphics, rather than using the directional keys to draw lines.
