SUMMARY

In Microsoft Word for Windows, if you use the Create Envelope command (or Envelopes and Labels in Word 6.0) to print an envelope to an OkiLaser 400 printer, the following message will be displayed on the printer:

   COM 10 ENVELOPE, MANUAL FEED REQUEST

The envelope slot on the Okidata OkiLaser 400 is a single-sheet, manual feed mechanism. After you place an envelope into the manual feeder, you must press the Form Feed button on the printer to begin printing.
