The NextCell() command moves the insertion point to the next cell in the table and assigns the return value to the variable named "x." The value 0 (zero) is returned if there is not a next cell in the table. The above macro posts a message if the current cell is the last cell in the table. The MsgBox command can be replaced by other WordBasic commands depending on the purpose of the macro. The PrevCell command returns the insertion point to its original location before the NextCell() command was executed.

If the NextCell() command is used when the insertion point is not within a table, a "Command is unavailable" error is posted. The following macro uses the SelInfo command to first determine if the insertion point is within a table.
