Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c, 6.0, 6.0a, 6.0c

Microsoft Word 6.0 for Windows requires Windows 3.1 to run.

Microsoft Word 2.0 for Windows requires Windows version 3.0 or later running in standard or enhanced mode. If Windows 3.0 is installed and running in real mode, the following message will be displayed when you try to start Word:

   This application requires standard or enhanced mode Windows.
