The syntax for SelInfo() is as follows:

   n = SelInfo(Type)

There are 36 different arguments or types for the SelInfo function in Word versions 6.x and 7.x for Windows (30 different arguments in Word version 2.x for Windows).

Type 2 returns the section number containing the selection. To retrieve the total number of sections in a document, move the insertion point to the end of the document before you use the SelInfo() function. SelInfo() is not available in Word version 1.x for Windows.
