SYMPTOMS

When you open a Word 6.0 for the Macintosh document containing one or more pictures or OLE objects into Word for Windows, the following message appears in place of the image:

   Use Word 6.0c or later to view Macintosh picture.

CAUSE

Word 6.0 and 6.0a for Windows cannot interpret the manner in which a graphic is saved in a Word 6.0 for the Macintosh document. Word 6.0c can interpret and display these graphics.
