Once the test computers are in place and have been prepared for the installation of Windows NT Workstation, the installation team should proceed with the following steps:
1. Make sure that the current network client software and connections are functioning properly. Working from a checklist of inventoried applications, make sure that all important applications operate correctly on the test computers before installing Windows NT Workstation.
2. Install Windows NT Workstation on one or more test computers, following the directions in the product documentation and using the preferred client configuration identified in the previous phase.
