A STREAMS stack can be built into one Windows NT driver, or partitioned into several. For example, tcpip.sys under Windows NT 3.1 contained the tcp, udp, and ip STREAMS drivers, as well as the arp module.(In Windows NT 3.5, TCP/IP is now implemented as a native transport driver.)
