There is now a Master Setup Program (MSETUP.EXE) that provides an overview Setup screen and an easy way to launch the installation programs for all the different products that ship on the Resource Kit CD, including the main Setup program. This program starts automatically when you insert the Resource Kit CD.
However, if you need to install a separate component at a later time, you can go to the root directory of the Windows NT Server Resource Kit compact disc (CD) and use the MSETUP.EXE file. Those utilities that are not installed by the main Setup program have an installation program in their subdirectory under the \APPS directory.
Important: Notice that many of the utilities will not work unless you are logged on as a member of the Administrators group.
The following is a list of some of the main directories on the Windows NT Server Resource Kit CD. For a list of all the first- and second-level directories on the CD, see Section 5.0, "Directory Structure of the Windows NT Server Resource Kit Supplement 2 CD."
