Remarks
The ShadingPattern statement applies a shading format to the selected paragraphs, table cells, or frame.

Type | The shading format to apply: 0 13 1 14 2 15 3 16 4 17 5 18 6 19 7 20 8 21 9 22 10 23 11 24 12 25 On the Macintosh, formats 35 through 61 apply shading patterns in 2.5% increments: 35 2.5% 49 55% 36 7.5% 50 57.5% 37 12.5% 51 62.5% 38 15% 52 65% 39 17.5% 53 67.5% 40 22.5% 54 72.5% 41 27.5% 55 77.5% 42 32.5% 56 82.5% 43 35% 57 85% 44 37.5% 58 87.5% 45 42.5% 59 92.5% 46 45% 60 95% 47 47.5% 61 97.5% 48 52.5% |
The ShadingPattern() function returns the following values.
Value | Explanation | |
0 (zero) | If none of the selection is shaded (the shading pattern is Clear) | |
–1 | If the selection contains a mixture of shading patterns | |
1 through 25 or | If all the selection is formatted with the same shading pattern |
