WindowState Property

Description

Returns or sets the state of the window, as shown in the following table. Read-write.

Value	Meaning

xlNormal	Window is not maximized or minimized.
xlMaximized	Window is maximized (Microsoft Windows only). Maximizing a window maximizes all windows on the Microsoft Excel desktop.
xlMinimized	Window is minimized (Microsoft Windows only).

Example

This example maximizes the application window in Microsoft Excel for Windows. (This property cannot be set on the Macintosh.)

Application.WindowState = xlMaximized

This example expands the active window to the maximum size available (assuming that the window is not already maximized).
