Other Dropdown Menus

Although Office Compatible 97 does not require the use of other standard Office dropdown menu entries, products are strongly encouraged to use them as appropriate. For example, products that include a Format menu entry should consider supporting Format->Font, Format-Paragraph, and other standard Office Format entries as appropriate. At all cost, products should avoid creating new names, locations, and accelerator keys for dropdown menu items which are used within Office. Instead, the Office model should be followed.
