Uses a Boolean value (0,1) to indicate the state of the Ignore Caps check box in the Spell Check dialog box. |
Speller |
Has a value of the form [Number, Word]. The number is a country code, and the word refers to the dictionary type (see the tables later in this section). |
Suggest Always |
Uses a Boolean value (0,1) to indicate the state of the Suggest check box in the Spell Check dialog box. |
Note
Although you can specify the full path for each of several custom dictionaries using Custom Dict n entries, all custom dictionaries must be placed in the \MSAPPS\PROOF subdirectory of your WINDOWS directory.

The Dictionary Type argument refers to five possible types of dictionaries that can be used by the spelling checker. Microsoft Excel always uses Normal. The following table shows the five Dictionary Types.
