SS.exe is used to integrate other applications with VSS by creating batch files or by calling SS.exe commands from your application. SS.exe uses the following syntax.
Syntax
SS command name <item(s) to operate on> [switches]
Example
Issues a VSS Get Latest Version command on the file Filename.txt:
ss Get Filename.txt
