Returns or sets the font style of the Font object to either bold or non-bold.
object.Bold [= boolean]
The parts of the Bold property syntax are described in the following table.
Part | Description |
---|---|
object | An object expression that evaluates to an object |
boolean | A Boolean expression specifying the font style, as described in Settings. |
The settings for boolean are described in the following table.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
True | Turns on bold formatting. |
False | Turns off bold formatting (default). |
The Font object is not directly available at design time. Instead, set the Bold property by selecting a control's Font property in the Properties window and clicking the Properties button. In the Font Style box of the Font dialog box, select either Bold or Bold Italic. At run time, however, you set Bold directly by specifying its setting for the Font object.
