Retrieves the abbreviated name of the locale's language.
Syntax
public String getAbbrevLanguage()
Return Value
Returns a String object that represents the abbreviated name of the language for the locale.
Remarks
Use this method to obtain the abbreviated name of the language for the current thread. The abbreviation is created by taking the 2-letter language abbreviation from the ISO Standard 639 and adding a third letter, as appropriate, to indicate the sublanguage.
