Chapter 1: Overview

This chapter describes the OLE Automation component of Wang's Eastman Software's Imaging for Windows 95 product set.   Imaging OLE Automation allows you to access Imaging objects programmatically using Visual Basic or any other application that supports OLE automationOLE Automation.

Note: Your version of Imaging for Windows may not support all of the objects described in this document. Refer to the Object Properties and Methods tables at the beginning of each chapter for more information.

Using Imaging OLE Automation you can:

• Open and manage the Imaging application window
  
  
• Display and print image files
  
  
• Perform various actions on image files, such as rotating, flipping, editing, saving, and deleting files
