Annotation Functions
Annotation functions provide tools for drawing and manipulating annotation marks. Depending on how you implement them in your application, the end user can:
-
Create, move, resize, edit, and delete annotation marks.
-
Modify annotation attributes (such as color, size, text, and visibility).
-
Group annotation marks and control their visibility.
-
Save annotation marks as part of the image or separately (TIFF image documents only).
-
Link annotation marks to pages in image documents, to other files on the user's system, or to Universal Resource Locators (URLs) on the World Wide Web. Such annotations become hypertext jumps. When users click on them, the destination image or Web page appears. Image pages appear in an Image Edit and/or Image Thumbnail control; Web pages appear in the registered Web browser.
Note: Hyperlink annotations are available with Imaging for Windows Professional Edition V1.0, V1.1, and V2.0 only.
