- Extensibility and distributed processing to integrate new components at a minimal cost, using computer resources efficiently.
- Responsibility for employees handled by their own managers.
Management Requirements
- Ability to track spending monthly and annually to ensure that departments stay within budget.
- Tools to analyze expenses without requesting reports from accounting.
- Automatic routing of reports to Accounts Payable after approval.
- Automatic enforcement of business rules and rejection of reports that exceed company spending limits.
- Use existing Excel template to avoid the need to learn a new tool and to enable employees to work on reports offline while travelling.
Employee Requirements
- Easy to track the status of a report after it has been submitted.
- Quick notification of rejections so that problems can be corrected.
- Timely reimbursement of expenses.
